Margarita Engle, author of "Enchanted Air: Two Cultures, Two Wings: A Memoir," was named the 2016 Pura Belpré Author Award medalist. This award was announced on Jan. 11, by the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC), a division of ALA, during the ALA Midwinter Meeting held Jan. 7-12, 2016, in Boston.
